Hey guys, Welcome to Shama.TV. This past week I was doing a teleseminar and someone asked me why I always stress the importance of having your basics right. So why do I always talk about having a good service, a good product, something solid before you take it to social media. No one had really asked me this question, so I wasn’t able to address. I figured I would address it now.
Here is the reason: Social media is the ultimate amplifier, anything you do, social media is like keeping a megaphone right there, for it to get louder, so if you have an average service or product, you have wholes in your service, or there is something that is not working out, what is it going to do if you keep a megaphone right to it? It’s going to make it look awful. So if you have something average, social media will really take that something average and make it look awful. Because when something’s ok, we say it looks really bad on social media. A 100 three star ratings or two star ratings is not what you want. When you look at it what is something is good, and you put a megaphone by something that is good, it gets extremely powerful.
I really want you to start looking at social media marketing as the ultimate amplifier. I don’t want you to build your business around it. I want to focus on a solid product or service, and then amplify it using social media.
I hope this answers the question about why I stress having an extremely solid product or service before doing social media marketing.
